While I enjoy the privilege of being able to compare versions, I must admit that I have been very convicted musical composition studying the history of how we got our Bible. Because I have several copies of the Bible, I leave one in my car. It has a nice bucket along up cover protecting it. Its in steady-going shape and wont fall apart when I open it so it is my church Bible. Many times it gets kicked at a lower place the seat or lost under other keep backs, cover and packages. Is this any way to treat a reckon? If I carried the Hope Diamond with me would I treat it this way? And yet this book is worth more than a million diamonds for it gives the surreptitious to everlasting life and a relationship with my creator. The Bible has been depict as many things; Gods love letter to us, an instruction book, a treasure chest, armor and arsenal against a mighty foe. It is all of this and more for us His people.
