My reason for attending Delgado Community College was simple; I needed and desperately wanted to further my education. I had dropped out of postgraduate school at an early age and I didnt know exactly what it was that I wanted to do in life-time. I hung around the house not having a argumentation and then I realized that I needed a high school diploma or a GED in order to sterilize the right career for myself. I in brief entered into a GED class and with the right training and the help of the instructor I was shortly on my way to receiving something that would stick with me for watch of my life. When I received the phone call that I passed my political campaign I screamed and cried with excitement. That daytime had made me the closely proud psyche in the world. It gave me a new leaf on life and greater shade of encouragement and confidence. After receiving my GED I felt that allthing was possible and each door to success was open for me to search more. I always knew that I wanted to go to college and any college would have been nice, but Delgado is the right place for me. Its really convenient for me and my work schedule and Delgado has all the right options, instructors, and advisors that helped me along the way.

My first day of class was little bit brass racking, but when I met my instructors and other students a warm feeling came over me and it helped me relax. I knew then with the excitement and fast footmark of eitherthing I had entered into a new world of learning. That first day of school made me feel that everything from then on in my life had changed for the better. Not just for me, but for my family, my upcoming career, and most importantly my life! To know that theres a helping hand a few feet away soothed my tending of asking for help and accomplishing more. Independence, self-sufficiency, and self-confidence is what I feel every day that I walk through the doors of Delgado knowing that I am closer at my dream at achieving something that no one can take from me... my education!
