Cuba in the twenty first century can be described as the longest living third introduction revolutionary country that has struggled to become a strong and stabilise nation. With Fidel Castro coming to his final years, Cuba will once again go by dint of changes that could possibly form a new twist and identity. In the 1952, Cuba was on the brink of revolution as Fulgencio Batista overthrew the regime through a military coupd etat and scratch the election. This event led to Fidel Castro forming his 26th of July Movement along with Ernesto Che Guevara and armed combat for the next seven years in what became known as the Cuban transmutation. Though this one event triggered the Cuban Revolution and serveed begin the rise of Fidel Castro, this revolution was caused by factors such as the economic dependence on sugar, the downturn of the economy, the social social organization of familiarity and relations with the United States.
After fighting during the nineteenth century for independence from Spain, Cuba was able to gain independence through the Platt Amendment with the United States under the conditions that Cuba would allow the United States the right to come in with foreign affairs, finances and defense of Cuba.
