Although sports might not be as accredited as academics, playing sports has brought great amounts of joy and character building lessons to my life. I first began playing soccer in high rail during my sophomore year, and I trained with great dedication to lay down myself for the upcoming season. . Unfortunately, with simply a few weeks before the decreed season began, I managed to sustain an injury that prevented me from participating. The season was only a week away and during practice I got evil and couldnt play the rest of the season. The feeling of not be able to play was unbearable, but it did not stop me from funding my team. My coach allowed me to stay on the team and I helped anyways I could from bringing water to the players; to helping teammates with drills and preserving the teams morale the entire year whenever the situation got disheartening. If I could go back in cartridge holder and reckon back my injury, I wouldnt because it helped me understand the meaning of teamwork and to make the best of a bad situation. My junior year is when I finally got the happen to play again and really had to work big(a) to lucre junior varsity, which isnt even the biggest role I could achieve. I had faith and confidence in myself, but I knew it would take time before I could significantly help my team be successful.



As the year went by, I did everything my coach asked and little by little got better. The hard work and dedication I put by in helping my team earned me playing time in varsity games, and I eventually earned a surviveing position in some of the games. The news that I would have a permanent startle role on the varsity team the last four games of the season was significant for me; for I didnt expect it at the beginning of the year. I knew that I played satisfactorily, but I never pass judgment to make the all district team with my limited start and experience playing soccer in high school.
