Kite Runner

The Kite Runner is a historical fictional confine written by Khaled Hosseini. It is narrated from the year 2002. ameer is the protagonist in the story and at the beginning of the book, he alludes to an final result in his life during the winter of 1975 that causes him great regret and guilt. The reader learns that the event involves Hassan, a servant in his house. Amir refers to him as the hare-lipped kite runner. (Hosseini,2) The reader is taken back to Amirs childishness during the final monarchy of Afghanistan. Amirs father, Baba, is a wealthy Pashtun military man in Kabul. Amirs mother died during childbirth. They have servants named Ali and his news Hassan.
Amir and Hassan have many differences including social status, education and economic status. Despite these differences, Amir and Hassan spend a percentage of date to take a leakher. Baba is non around or available to Amir, as oftentimes as he would like.
A coup occurs on July 17, 1973 and it changed Afghanistan from a monarchy to a republic. During the winter, schools were closed and Amir and Hassan spend a lot of time kite fighting. He ran away and didnt help him. Later, Hassan came home with the kite and blood dripping down his pants. Amir pretended not to know what happened, and didnt sound out when asked about it.
