Bowles (2010) defines computer literacy, at its most basic level, means judgment how and why computers work, and knowing the best way to use them to follow up your career and personal goals. When I think of Kurzweils futurism and applied science predictions, I think of the Will Smith movie I-robot in which the robots surpassed hu gentlekind thinking and attempted to conquer the human race. The coarse majority of the futurism predictions that Mr. Kurzweil made have been essentially correct. afterward viewing the videos and some internet research, I reconcile with closely half of his predictions. I agree with some of his medical advances and robotics (to the close that robotic technology will continue to advance to improve mans life- not to surpass mans thinking). I disagree with Mr. Kurzweil that books and printed material will be convey extinct. I do not think that that will ever happen in our lifetime. According to Rennie (2010), on close examination, Kurzweils clearest and most triple-crown predictions often lack originality or profundity. In addition, most of his predictions come with so many loopholes that they border on the unfalsifiable (Rennie, 2010). I agree with Mr. Rennie that most of the predictions that I have reviewed are vague.





The word characteristic is borrowed from astrophysics in relation to a black hole where perpetual physics no longer matter. The singularity is the transformation of our species by technological progress (Kurzweil, 2005). The Singularity is the moment when technology grows at such a rapid rate that changes the history of human nature (Kurzweil, 2005). It is the creation of super-intelligence that surpasses the capabilities of the human brain (Kurzweil, 2005). I vista forward to the advance of the concept of singularity to improve our lives. I do have concerns about trusting emotionless machines with make my personal decisions.
