The Devils Wife To what extent is Myra Hindley presented as a victim?

In the premiere part of the poem called I. Dirt Myra is not presented as a victim in any instruction. In circumstance its quite the opposite, she was very attracted to him … on fire for him. The dash that Myra attracts the devil is quite childish, she says that she scowled, pouted and sneered to attract him; this is by all odds not victim like behaviour. In the last stanza of the first section Myra goes on to briefly talk about their sex life I wont repeat what we did. In my opinion the way she says this makes her almost come across as she is boasting; which is definitely not victim like behaviour. She in addition mentions that he also made her bury a doll and goes on to listing some odd places for a young agree to accrue out, for example; playgrounds & Fairgrounds. I believe that the doll represents the first child that Myra Hindley & Ian Brady murdered + buried. The looking at playgrounds and fairgrounds represents the couple scouting for new young victims. So she is willing to serve up Ian thus not presented as a victim.
In the flash part of the poem called 2. Medusa The poems tone changes immediately. She was being flown over the woods where she buried the child and she was in chains.



Now were seeing Myra being presented as a victim, but only of the crimes that she has committed but not to her conscious or to the soldiery that she has helped. In the stanza that begins Nobody liked my hair… Duffy is showing us how the little things are eviscerateting to Myra by saying that nonexistence liked her hair or how she spoke instead of null liked me because I murdered 5 children. She even says It was nowt to me which shows us she really doesnt care as long as she can stay in contact with Ian I wrote to him every day…. In the last stanza of that section is when, in my opinion, Myra begins to say that it isnt a joke.
