The second article I researched was more or less gender role and personality disorders. Gender roles are the sort and social expectations that are expected of anyone deep down a definite sex.
The gender roles vary with each culture and society within each culture. But how might these gender roles that we take on effect our personality? The study took college students and broke them into groups. Each participant had to list a characteristic out of a give list that best fit each member of the match group. The characteristics were based off of ten personality disorders. They found that men who were more feminine showed signs of every personality disorder include except antisocial. Masculine men and feminine women showed narcissistic and melodramatic features.
